The Cost

Each year, over 10,000 teenagers leave high school without graduating (one state). 


The annual incarceration cost of 5,000 teenagers is projected at $ 1.0 billion per state ($ 200,000 per person cost).


Annual Objectives Per State.


  - Fund 10,000 GED high school graduations. 

  - Fund 10,00 job training programs.

  - Fund foster care programs.

  - Fund mentor - mentee programs, clubs or church services. 

  - Reduce recidivism by 25% annually. 

Societal Cost of Not Completing High School

1. Objective: Amend Law 117-169 (Tax Credit Funding. 


   - 75 % of crimes are committed by high school dropouts. 

   - Eight times more likely to be arrested than H.S. graduates. 

   - 82% of inmates have not completed high school.

   - The average cost to arrest, convict and hold is $200,000 per person.

   - Fund 10,000 GED graduations per state annually. 

   - $ 1.0 billion cost (5,000 students at $ 200,000 cost each).

   - Invest in students to reduce crime in the future.
