Abandoned Commercial Properties

1. Objective: Amend Law 117-169 (Tax Credit Funding).


- 10.5 million square feet of commercial space is available for demolition in 58 U.S. cities. 


- The cost to remove 10.5 million square feet is projected at $200.00 per sqft or $ 2.1 billion over five years, and requires hundreds of workers in each city.
